One of the most popular attractions in New York City is the 9/11 memorial and museum. The memorial includes the names of every person that was killed during the attacks around the two pools. It also a 1993 W.T.C. bombing memorial. Cost: $24 per person (9/11 family members are admitted for free)
Another iconic landmark of New York City is the Statue of Liberty. Visitors can take a ferry over to the island, which lets them walk around the statue and the surrounding monument. Cost:$9-18 per person ($3 extra for crown access.)
If you're in New York City, Central Park is a must visit! The park is full of things to do, from bike rides, to the Central Park Zoo, to seeing John Lennon's Strawberry Fields. In the fall, there is a festival held in the park every year! Cost: Free
The Metropolitan Museum of Art is one of the world's largest art museums, and by far the largest in the US. Founded in 1870, the MET has over 400,000 records in their collection, including Egyptian clay statues and Victorian gargoyles. Cost: $25 per person
The Cathedral of St. Patrick is a huge, 340 foot tall church on 5th Avenue between 50th and 51st streets in Midtown. It is decorated in the Neo-Gothic art style and was built between 1858 and 1978. Cost: Free (But donations are always helpful)
